Margot Robbie stopped by Jimmy Fallon tonight while promoting Birds of Prey in New York City "[It was] really fun to make and really fun to watch"
During the interview, she discussed pitching the idea of Birds of Prey back when she was filming Suicide Squad! "4 1/2 years ago, when I pitched an r-rated-girl-gang-action-film with dc characters – that was a little of an uphill battle. It took a couple of years to convince everyone"
4 1/2 years later and she delivered! What better time to have an action-packed, r-rated, girl gang movie!
Jimmy didn't stop there! When he asked about her past tattooing co-stars on Suicide Squad she burst into laughter saying "No, I hung up the tattoo gun," giving us a little back story. During the production of Suicide Squad, she opted to give everyone matching "SKWAD" tattoos – even giving herself one on her foot!
If that doesn't scream badass I don't know what does.
While in her home country Australia, Margot attended a close friend's wedding. But what's a wedding without the Bride's bachelorette party? After a night of drinking, Margot thought it would be a good idea to get matching tattoo. Margot ended up leaving said friend with a red scabbing tattoo on her back claiming [she] was cool with it. She tells Jimmy "But you know who was not cool with it?... her mom."
