As any Marvel fan would agree, Phase 4 releases this year were keeping us going to survive 2020 but due to the current situation of the world, it all changed.
In true Endgame fashion, "where do we go now that they're gone?"
C: Avengers: Endgame
It started with cultural events getting canceled and it wasn't long until we'd get word that movies were beginning to be delayed/rescheduled. When word was out that No Time to Die was moved from its release date in April to November of this year, it wasn't looking to keen for the future of MCU movies. A Quiet Place 2 and the 9th installment of Fast and Furious also received rescheduling.
That's when the community knew that Marvel's biggest release this year – the standalone film for the agile Russian Avenger, Black Widow – would most likely get the rescheduling boot.
Those fears have become reality. Marvel announced it would be pushing the release of Black Widow until November 6, 2020. The rest of the MCU upcoming movie roster follows in Black Widow's steps leaving us to wait even longer for its phase 4 projects.
Here's the new release schedule for MCU Phase 4 movies:
The Eternals - 2/12/2021
Shang-Chi - 5/7/2021
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness - 11/5/2021
Thor: Love and Thunder - 2/18/2022
Black Panther 2 - 5/8/2022
Captain Marvel 2 - 7/8/2022
