This Thursday launches the world premiere of Katy Keene on the CW – home to other mesmerizing shows like Nancy Drew and Riverdale!
Set in New York City, Katy Keene follows Archie Comic's very own Katy Keene (Lucy Hale) and her friends Jorge Lopez/Ginger (Jonny Beauchamp), Pepper Smith (Julia Chan), and someone who might sound familiar – Josie McCoy (Ashleigh Murray) from Riverdale – pursuing their dreams. Her boyfriend – the super hottie Zane Holt – also plays an important role in shaping Katy's life as she aspires to be a fashion designer.
From the looks of it, I'm pretty sure somewhere within the show's run, she'll make it.
Today, the actress celebrated the release of her show at Sak's 5th Ave, unveiling their windows which displayed costumes inspired by the iconic Archie character.
I was there to watch it all go down. In true Katy Keene style, Lucy wore a full magenta ensemble – holding a petite purse and coat propped over her shoulders – and was all smiles for the camera and fans waiting there to see.
I can't wait to see what New York City has in store for Katy Keene!
