Jack Dylan Grazer To Host Shazam! Watch Party

According to a report made by Comicbook.com production for the sequel to the 2019 hit Shazam! is set to begin filming later this year.

"The current state of the coronavirus pandemic remains a factor in whether or not the film is able to rally the cast and crew for production of the April 2022 scheduled release but director David F. Sandberg is maintaining his options when it comes to working on the film through pre-production," said Brandon Davis for Comicbook.com.

The fate of Shazam! 2 depends on how the world's current situation will change until then production will continue. Other films have been pushed to premiere next year or postponed indefinitely.

In light of this news, Jack Dylan Grazer – who played Freddy Freeman, took to Instagram to announce he would be joining in on the Shazam! watch party set to be held Wednesday night at 9 pm EST. "Since we're all at home playing it safe, and keeping sanitized, and being smart...I am joining Comicbook.com's quarantine watch party of Shazam!," he said.

Shazam!'s director David F. Sandberg and Asher Angel are also set to join in on the fun. "Let's all watch it together and use the hashtag quarantine watch party and hashtag Shazam! to make sure we're all connected," Jack added.

You can stream Shazam! on YouTube or Amazon Prime for $15.99.
