James Corden Calls Himself the 8th Member of BTS

Updated: Mar 12, 2020

BTS made their television debut performance of "Black Swan" last night on James Corden.

Fresh off their Grammy performance, BTS joins James Corden with all smiles and excitement from the crowd. They are the 1st K-pop band to perform on the Grammys stage and that itself is a huge accomplishment for the group!

James asks them what the highlight of the night was and J-Hope says "everything about that night was special." RM adds that "Kpop was finally recognized."

AS IT SHOULD BE!!

If there's one thing to be sure of BTS is that their dance routines never cease to amaze us! However, during those times they mess up accidentally on stage, James wants to know what they do. James proceeds to "Woah" and asks if that's what they do that causing them to laugh and mimick him. J-Hope simply says "idc"

James then asks them about their upcoming album titled "7" — which drops February 21 — and what we can expect from it. RM says it's a special album for them because "its been 7 years since our debut and we have 7 members here."

Knowing how insanely popular BTS is, there's no surprise fans camped outside the studio for them — some even camping out overnight! That's dedication! James asks the boys "is there any message you want to give to the BTS army?" V cheekily replies that he wants fans to "be happy through our work and...we'll be there for you!"

Finally, Bts performs Black Swan barefoot on what looks like a pond in the woods giving us Twilight vibes.

The hype was REAL in the crowd!

They finish their appearance with a quick round of hide-and-seek with Ashton Kutcher and James. At one point Ashton found Jin backstage in the iconic photo booth and gave him a good scare and proceeded to carry him back to the main stage.
